About

A small team that builds working systems, not slide decks

PraoAI exists because most companies don’t need an AI strategy. They need three specific processes to stop consuming a person’s week. We do the unglamorous work of finding those processes and replacing them with something that runs on its own.

01Why us

We’d rather lose the deal than sell you the wrong thing

Plenty of firms will sell you an AI project. Fewer will tell you on the first call that your bottleneck is an approval step, not a model — and that a rule in your existing CRM would fix it for nothing.

We take that position because the alternative is worse for us. An automation nobody uses doesn’t renew, doesn’t get referred, and takes longer to support than it earned. Being honest early is the cheaper strategy.

What we’re good at: reading a messy operation quickly, picking the change with the best payback, and shipping it into daily use rather than into a demo environment. What we’re not: a staffing agency, a platform reseller, or a team that will run a nine-month discovery phase.

The name is that belief compressed. PraoAI comes from the loop an agent runs — plan, reason, act, observe, then plan again with what it learned. It’s the observe step most projects skip, and it’s the reason their automation quietly rots. We named ourselves after the whole loop so we’d have to keep building all four parts of it. The four steps in detail.

02How we operate

Four commitments we put in writing

  • We start with the audit, not the build

Automating a broken process just makes it break faster. The first thing we deliver is an understanding of your operation you can act on with or without us.

  • We build on the tools you already own

No migration, no platform fee, no proprietary layer you can’t leave. If your stack can do the job, we use your stack.

  • A human stays in the loop where it counts

Anything touching money, contracts or customers gets a review step and an audit log. Confidence thresholds route the uncertain cases to a person.

  • You own everything we write

Code, prompts, documentation and infrastructure are handed over in your accounts. Ending the engagement doesn’t break anything.

03Fit

Who we work well with — and who we don’t

Good fit

  • 10–500 people, with processes that repeat often enough to be worth automating
  • At least one person who can make decisions about how work gets done
  • Systems with an API, or data that can be exported without a fight
  • Willingness to change a process, not just bolt software onto it

Probably not a fit

  • Looking for the cheapest possible hourly developer
  • Wanting AI mentioned in a press release more than in a workflow
  • No internal owner — the best automations still need someone to care
  • Regulated data we’re not set up for without a scoping conversation first

Start with a conversation, not a contract

Forty-five minutes on where your team’s hours go. You’ll leave with at least one concrete thing to fix, whether or not we work together.
